UltraISO is a great program for handling ISO image formats, and other common compressed image formats, plus the price is low compared to other applications of this kind. With this tool you can write images on a disc, mount on a virtual drive, create an image from a disc or convert it to different formats, create bootable CDs/DVDs, etc.
The interface has remained the same across all versions, and a new explorer window is available now, with double panes for viewing local files and folders, as well as the structure of the image. Adding files from one part to the other is easily done using drag and drop, or using the context menus of both panels.
Save audio CDs as BIN/CUE, IMG/CCD/SUB, and other image formats and burn an exact copy of the original with no quality loss. Also the users can rip Audio CDs by opening the disc from UltraISO, selecting the storage location where the files are automatically saved as WAVE sound.
Additionally, it enables users to shrink ISO images with six different compression levels to choose, from fastest to heavy through fast, normal, small and smallest compression. The resulting file outputs in ISoZipped.
The application is easy-to-use, as all windows are ordered logically. For your information, the trial version is not working with files of more than 300MB.

The format uses ZLIB or BZIP2 to compress the data, and can support AES encryption of various strength. The file format specification is available publicly on EZB Systems's website. The format is now supported by third party applications such as Daemon Tools.
